We are back at the iconic Ohio Statehouse this May, offering you a unique opportunity to connect with state legislators, judges and colleagues and to join us as we set our upcoming public policy agenda, celebrate excellence in the legal profession and provide important updates on the bench and bar you won't want to miss.

For our members’ convenience, we will hold our annual district meetings in conjunction with this event. In addition, we are hosting a welcome reception at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown, as well as a recognition luncheon to honor and reunite Ohio Bar members from across the state who will be celebrating 50 and 65 years in practice.

Welcome Reception at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown | 6:30 p.m.

Kick off the 2025 Annual Meeting of Members with a special welcome celebration at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown. Enjoy cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a live band while you reconnect with colleagues from around the state.

Join us for a refreshing morning walk around downtown and Capitol Square. Meet in the hotel lobby at 7:00 a.m. to get fresh air, connect with fellow Ohio Bar members and start the day energized.

District Meetings and CLE Opportunity | 10:00 a.m. | Renaissance Columbus Downtown | Registration Opens at 9:30 a.m.

Meet with fellow lawyers in your district and earn one complimentary hour of professional conduct credit as we explore and discuss the latest trends impacting the legal profession.

The session will highlight how we maintain our core professional values (independence, professionalism, competency and integrity) while evolving to meet modern times. We'll cover pathways to bar admission, innovations to address access to justice, law practice culture and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI).

Recognition Luncheon | 12:00 p.m. | Renaissance Columbus Downtown | Ticketed Event | Registration Opens at 11:30 a.m.

Enjoy lunch at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown as we formally honor the Ohio Bar admittee classes of 1975 and 1960. The Ohio State Bar Foundation will also present this year’s Community Service Award for Newer Attorneys.

Council of Delegates Meeting | 1:30 p.m. | Ohio Statehouse Atrium | Registration Opens 1:00 p.m.

Help the Ohio Bar set its public policy agenda as the council takes up the latest legislative proposals from Ohio Bar committees and sections and honors special lawyer leaders through various award presentations.

General Assembly Meeting | 3:00 p.m. (or Immediately Following Council) | Ohio Statehouse Atrium

Get updates on the state of the bar and the state of the judiciary, celebrate our next Ohio Bar Medal recipient and witness the passing of the gavel to the 2025-2026 Ohio Bar president.

Bench-Bar Legislative Reception | 5:00 p.m. | Ohio Statehouse Rotunda

With support from our friends at the Ohio Access to Justice Foundation and the Ohio Judicial Conference, we'll end our biggest bash of the year with a special reception in the Statehouse Rotunda. Enjoy refreshments while connecting with fellow legal professionals and Ohio lawmakers.

Plan your day by selecting from the Annual Meeting add-on options including District Meetings and the Bench-Bar Legislative Reception. You will also have the option to include a voluntary contribution with your registration to help offset the per-person cost.
